APLAB Model 8560 AC Power Source is essentially meant to provide variable output AC voltage at a selected frequency, that is 50Hz or 60Hz with a maximum power rating of 1000VA/800W. The required output frequency can be selected with the help of a switch, which is conveniently placed on the front panel. The voltage can be varied from 0 to 240 Volts using the potentiometer. With an active PFC, the current harmonics at the input side are substantially low. With an input Power Factor of 0.99, these units work with any input from 90V AC to 265V AC of 45 Hz to 65Hz. A true RMS voltmeter with 3 digit display using seven segment LED for output voltage and a 3 digit DPM for output Frequency facilitate easy read out of the selected voltage and frequency of the output.
