Aplab, Petrotec Europe Announce Alliance

Aplab Limited, a solutions provider for petroleum retail outlets, has entered into an alliance with the Petrotec Group, the fifth largest manufacturers in the world of equipments for the fuel distribution and retail industry.

Aplab has now formed a joint venture with Petrotec India, who has been manufacturing and exporting ATEX approved precision hydraulic pumps and metering units to Europe as OEM systems. Petrotec Group operates in four Continents and is the fifth largest producer of fuel and LPG pumps, manufacturing annually, over 11000 multi-product fuel dispensers from their plant in Portugal. More than 80% of these are installed in Europe, Africa, South America and Asia. Petrotec serves all the global players in fuel retailing and all of the largest oil companies of the world are currently their clients.

This alliance combines Aplab’s strong skills in quality engineering, embedded and network software and the call-centre based nationwide field service network with Petrotec’s expertise and reputation in the international market, its huge installed base of equipment, and, their ability to design and offer retailing equipment that is fully compliant with current European standards in metrology, safety regulations and fuel recovery.

This alliance will enable the Aplab – Petrotec combine to offer European standard compliant multi-product dispensers and such other products to our esteemed customers in India at competitive prices. This alliance is very significant for India since the entire hydraulics and electronics will be produced in India under Aplab and European supervision. We will be serving both, the domestic as well as global markets with a range of world class products.
