Nishith Deodhar to Guide Aplab's Newly Formed Sprylogic

Aplab Ltd., A highly reputed Electronics company in India serving its clients since 1962, has made an entry into the Software Services Sector, by setting up a 100% owned subsidiary company, Sprylogic Technologies Limited. Sprylogic started its operations in June 07. APLAB officially announced this week that Mr. Nishith Deodhar, has joined the APLAB Board this month as its Executive Director and will guide Sprylogic Operations in its Software Services and BPO activities and also head the Electronic Transactions, Automation and Controls (ELTRAC) Division of APLAB. ELTRAC division has a growing presence as the source of high quality rugged Self Service Terminals for Banking and Commercial Applications.

"Mr. Nishith Deodhar brings to the table his wide ranging experience in IT businesses after spending over 14 years in the US working for IBM and other US IT enterprises after getting his MS from USC in Computer Engineering. His involvement in managing product lifecycles & implementing software outsourcing methodologies allows Aplab access to newer market segments and product areas. Aplab also is poised to increase its presence across key markets through a focussed approach in Self Service Terminals for which Nishith will also play a pivotal role as the CEO of Aplab's newly formed IT Subsidiary Sprylogic Technologies Ltd. With the necessary growth triggers in place, we expect revenues of the Aplab Group to reach over Rs 1500 million in FY 07-08."

He also announced that APLAB will be investing over 25 crores till 2009 and is setting up a 200,000 sq. ft. "Logica Technology Park" in Pune for expanding its operations. Construction on these operations has already commenced.
